Police are appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault on a 44 year old woman in Victoria Avenue, Craig Y Don, Llandudno between 1:30am and 2:15am on Sunday July 11.
We know that the woman was dropped off on Victoria Avenue in Llandudno by a local taxi at about 1:30am. At this time the victim was wearing black trousers, a black cardigan and black vest top. She had previously left a nearby public house.
As a result of disclosures made by the woman we are now conducting a criminal investigation. House to house enquiries have been conducted in the area and a number of witnesses have been identified.
We would appeal to anyone who was in the Victoria Avenue area at this time to make contact with the police.
The police would like to stress that Incidents of this nature are rare in this area of North Wales.
