Appeal following Rhos on Sea robbery

Detectives investigating a robbery at the Spar on Llandudno Road in Rhos on Sea on Wednesday, November 10, and are asking the public for help.

Police received a call shortly after 8.30pm reporting the robbery, two offenders were involved and both had their faces covered. One of the offenders is believed to have been armed with a knife. Threats were made to the staff in the shop before the offenders left the scene with a quantity of cash.

Both of the offenders are described as being of slim build, one was described as wearing a dark coloured hooded coat with blue or grey sleeves with blue or silver stripes along the arms. He wore dark trousers and white trainers. The second male was described as wearing dark clothing.

The staff were unharmed but shaken and upset from the incident.

Inquiries are continuing and CCTV is also being studied as part of the investigation. House to house inquiries are also being conducted in the vicinity.

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who may have information regarding the incident or who may have been in the area of the Spar shop at the Dinerth Road, Llandudno Road Junction at the time of the incident.
