Police are appealing for information following two road traffic collisions yesterday on the A467 Southbound
Police were called at 12.15pm after a report of a two vehicle collision on the A467 southbound just after the Rogerstone turning involving a black Fiat Punto and a Hyundai. One female driver inside the Punto sustained injuries and was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital and has since been released
On the way to responding to this incident a Gwent Police vehicle, a BMW X5, was involved in a road traffic collision with a Punto on the southbound carriageway. The female driver of the Punto remains in hospital in a stable condition. The two officers inside the police vehicle were also taken to hospital. One remains in hospital in a stable condition.
