Police are appealing for information after an incident that occurred on Newport Road Trethomas this morning (Thursday March 24th, 2011)
At approximately 7.50am a learner bus driver under instruction was travelling up Newport Road, Trethomas toward Newport when a taxi pulled out of Lower Glyngwyn Street causing the bus driver to brake. The learner bus driver was uninjured but the instructor received injuries and was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital for observations. The taxi is described as a silver Vauxhall Vectra and it had a passenger in it.
