Police in Cwmbrân are appealing for information after a man was threatened and had money stolen off him.
The 57 year old local man was walking under the stone bridge just after Pets at Home at Cwmbrân Retail Park some time between 10pm and 10.30pm last night (Wednesday December 16th, 2009) when two men have appeared in front of him and demanded his money. One of the men then produced a knife and the man handed over his money. The two offenders then headed off in the direction of Pets at Home.
The first man is described as white, aged between 25 and 35 years of age, stocky build around 5ft 8 inches tall and dressed in dark clothing and a hooded jacket.
The second man is described as white, aged between 25 and 35 years of age, slim build and around 5ft 10 inches tall. He was described as wearing dark clothing, a blue and white jacket and a baseball cap.
