Police in Cwmbran are appealing for information after a 12 year old boy had his mobile phone taken off him by another boy.
The incident happened at approximately 6pm last night (Monday October 5th, 2009) as the 12 year old was walking at the back of Hollybush School, approximately 20 metres from the subway towards the Mill Tavern.
The 12 year old was approached by another boy who threatened him with a lighter and took his I-Phone. The offender is described as white, about 13 years of age, skinny build, about five feet tall and he had a small scab on the lower part of his left cheek. He was wearing a black beanie hat, green tracksuit top with a black circle on it and writing on the front and black jogging bottoms. The offender was in the company of two or three other boys at the time of the incident. The 13 year old went off toward the Mill Tavern with the other boys.
The 12 year old victim, who lives locally, was not injured in the incident.
