Gwent Police is appealing for information to an assault that occurred at approximately 7pm on Saturday 13th February 2010 in, Treowen, Newbridge.
A 56 year old male had gone into the Londis Store in Treowen where a young boy was being abusive to staff, he challenged the boy about his behaviour and when he left the store was assaulted by him.
The victim was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital where he remains after sustaining multiple fractures to the face.
The offender is described as white, 5’5″ – 5’7″ tall, of a stocky build, aged between 15 – 17 years old. He had medium length, fair, wavy hair which was short on the side.
Gwent Police is appealing for any witnesses to the incident or anyone with any information regarding the offender to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
