Gwent Police is appealing for information after a man was assaulted on Lower Coronation Street in Tredegar.
The assault occurred overnight Saturday 28th into Sunday 29th August, between midnight and 12.30am.
The victim, a 25 year old man from Tredegar, was walking along the road in the direction of Georgetown when he was approached from behind, pulled back by his shoulder and punched to the face. He sustained facial bruising.
