Gwent Police is appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision that occurred in the early hours of yesterday morning, Sunday 10th July.
At approximately 3 am three men were walking along the B4598 Old Abergavenny to Raglan Road, in the direction of Chain Bridge. As they turned onto Usk road one of the men was involved in a collision with a minibus. The 32 year old pedestrian, from the Risca area, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the minibus did not suffer any injuries – there was no-one else on the minibus at the time. The other two pedestrians were not involved in the collision.
