Officers are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision in Abertridwr.
The collision occurred at approximately 6pm yesterday evening, Thursday 23rd January on The Square, Abertridwr, and involved a blue Renault Clio and a cyclist.
The cyclist, a 63 year old local man, was taken to the University Hospital of Wales where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the car was uninjured.
Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to call 101 quoting log 390 23/01/14.
