Police are investigating a robbery that took place near to the entrance to the park on New Street/ Temple Street, Pill Newport.
The victim – a 23 year old female – was approached at about 9.30pm on Sunday evening (May 11th) by a man who demanded her gold necklace and bracelet.
The man is described as approximately 30 years of age, six feet tall, white, medium build with dark hair and stubble. He spoke with a foreign accent.
He was wearing a beige coat with a hood (hood was down), dark coloured jeans and scruffy trainers. He was also wearing black gloves. He was riding a push bike which was red/maroon in colour.
