South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses to a Serious Road Traffic Collision which happened on Monday 14th April 2014 at about 16.10 hours. The collision involved a blue Honda Fireblade 1000 cc motorcycle and a black BMW motorcar.
The collision took place in Neath Road, Maesteg at the junction with Heol Ty Gwyn. The rider of the motorcycle is a 43 year old local man form the Maesteg area and he is currently in a serious condition at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend.
Police would like to speak to any witnesses who may have witnessed the collision. Anyone who witnessed the riding of the blue motorcycle before the collision are asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit of South Wales Police on 101 quoting reference Occurrence number 14 00 127802
