Gwent Police is keen to trace two potential witnesses who may be able to assist in the investigation into a serious sexual assault in Llanbradach, Caerphilly.
The assault occurred on 4th January 2010 in Llanbradach Park, in Caerphilly. The victim was an 11 year old girl.
A nineteen year old man has been charged in the investigation.
The two men police believe may be able to help, were seen in the area opposite the Wingfield Public House at around 12.30pm that day.
The first male is described as being between 26 and 30 years old, approximately 5’11” tall, of thin build. He had short dark brown hair in a number one style crew cut and 2-3 days growth of facial hair. He was wearing a waist length plain jacket either hooded or with a hooded top underneath, camouflage trousers and boots with a buckle on the left hand side that came under to just under the knee.
The second males is described as being between 14 and 16 years old, between 5’2” – 5’4” tall and of slim build. He had brown/black straight hair and was wearing blue denim jeans and a black padded waist length jacket.
Officers are also still keen to talk to anyone else who was in Llanbradach Park that day between 8am and 2pm who may hold information that could assist enquiries.
