Gwent Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision yesterday, Wednesday 23rd March.
The collision occurred at approximately 2.30pm on the A4042 between Llanover and Llanellen. It involved a red Honda motorbike, a blue Nissan Note car, a white VW Caddy van and a silver Nissan Primestar van.
The motorbike rider, a 35 year old man from Blaenavon, sustained serious injuries and was taken to Nevill Hall Hospital where he later died. The other drivers involved were not injured.
Police are currently investigating the cause of the collision and ask that anyone who was in the area who may have witnessed it to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 01633 642404.
