Distraught events organiser Ady Hd is appealing for information on the whereabouts of her beloved Panda Beartrix. The Panda was last seen sitting on her sofa wearing a cowboy hat and dark glasses. It is believed that the Cardiff punk rock combo Sicknote may have had something to do with the disappearance and that they may have abducted him.
Ady from Llandrindod Wells, who studied fine art at Camarthenshire College of Art and Technology told Welsh Icons:
“One minute he was sitting on my sofa and the next he was gone.”
She added:
“I never trusted that Flapsandwich or any of them if the truth be told. They’re a bad lot.”
A spokesman for the band’s record label, Tantrum Records told us:
“Go away we are having a sherry and listening to some country and western”.
UPDATE: Word is reaching us that the band maybe trying to teach the panda to dance to replace their absent highland dancer Dr Conker.
UPDATE II: We at Welsh Icons have contacted Ady’s former school teacher Mr Llanfair Leek who told us:
“Take no notice of her dear, she’s always been a little tup”.
UPDATE III: PC Mochyn, a spokesperson from South Wales Police has hinted that the bear in question may have been stolen to order by the Valleys band ‘Little Eris and the Molecules’. He stated:
“We’ve been keeping an eye on them for a while, last year they were implicated in the abduction of a donkey but we could not pin anything on them. Anyone with further information should phone 101 and listen to the music for a couple of hours”
UPDATE IV: We have now managed to contact Sicknote’s ‘getaway’ driver, Mr Dickie Bilboa but unfortunately we could not understand a single word he said as he is from Abertridwr.
