At 2305hrs on Thursday 9th September 2010 emergency services were called to the scene of a road traffic collision on the A470 Conway Road, Llandudno near the junction with vicarage avenue.
The collision involved a silver Peugeot car which was travelling towards LLanrhos. The driver who is local to the area was taken by ambulance to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd where he remains in a critical condition.
Family members are in attendance. As part of the investigation the drivers of three other vehicles suspected of travelling in convoy with the Peugeot have been arrested.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact officers from the western roads policing at Llandegai on 101 if in Wales, or 08456071001 (Welsh line) 08456071002 (English line).
