South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 11.20pm Friday 5th March 2010 on Wellfield Road, Roath , Cardiff close to Barclays Bank.
A green Volvo being driven by a 32 year old man collided with a Kawasaki motorcycle being ridden by a 19 year old man and 17 year old male pillion passenger. Both were injured in the collision.
The rider sustained serious leg injuries and is presently at University Hospital, Heath, Cardiff.
South Wales Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them. The road was quiet at the time of the collision. The Police would like to speak to any person who witnessed the collision or anyone who may have seen the either vehicle being driven prior to the collision and who have not yet given their details.
