Gwent Police is appealing for information about a road traffic collision that occurred today at approximately 6.45am on Hardwick Hill in Chepstow involving a cyclist and a car.
The cyclist, a 22 year old man from the Chepstow area, was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital and has subsequently been taken to the University Hospital of Wales where he is described as stable.
The driver of the car, a 73 year old man from Sedbury, was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital as a precaution and has since been released.
