Two men are currently in custody following an incident in Connah’s Quay during the early hours of this morning, Sunday, 18th October.
Shortly before 1am a report was received from CCTV operators that an incident had occurred by the One Stop Shop on the High Street.
Officers attended and found a man down a nearby alleyway with a head injury.
Two men were immediately arrested on suspicion of assault.
An ambulance was called and the 41-year-old man was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital. He has since been transferred to Walton Hospital in Liverpool with a serious head injury.
