Angela Burns AM has welcomed the decision by the coastguard agency to keep Milford Haven Coastguard station.
She said “I am delighted and would like to congratulate all the people that came together to raise objections about the proposed closure. It was really great to see so many people, people from all political parties and a great many businesses recognise the importance of Milford Haven Coastguard. The Milford Haven estuary is of vital importance to our local economy and this decision safeguards quality jobs and keeps in place the safety services that are required by the UK’s third largest port.”
