Attempted Robbery, Maesteg: Police Appeal

Police in Maesteg are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery which occurred at the Londis Store on Lwyndarth Road, Maesteg at about 8.30pm on Wednesday 15th December.

Two men entered the shop and one has threatened the owner with a screwdriver before leaving with nothing.  Both were arrested by police officers outside the shop.

The two men, aged 34 and 43 come from the Maesteg area.

They have been charged with attempted robbery and remanded in custody.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident.
