Come and book yourself a bargain as Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Libraries Service holds a major sale of old stock.
The “Big Book Sale” will see hundreds of former library books on sale from as little as 20p each. Romance, horror, fact, historical and children’s titles will all be available for the avid reader to delve into. The sale will take place at Rhondda Heritage Park, Trehafod on Sunday September 13 2009 from 11am to 4pm.
Rhondda Heritage Park’s Visitor Centre also offers opportunities to learn about the rich heritage of the Rhondda Valleys, while the Art Gallery is currently displaying over 200 art works selected from entries submitted by local artists for the annual Open Art Competition.
Meals and snacks are available at the Valley View Restaurant while contemporary arts and crafts including jewellery and glassware are available to buy from the Gallery and gift shop.
