Shadow Minister for the Environment and Carmarthenshire Assembly Member Angela Burns is promoting the new flood warning signals from the Environment Agency Wales.
Mrs Burns said: “Flooding can be severe is some parts of our county and I have witnessed the devastating effect that being flooded can have on people’s mental and physical health let alone their pockets.
“I am deeply concerned that those whose homes may be at risk are made aware of the possible severity of any likely flood event and that communication is clear and rapid. These new flood warning signals are another aid and people are advised to become familiar with them.”
