They say laughter’s good therapy and people soon have the chance to smile and banish the January blues at the annual Penyrheol pantomime.
Denny Twp and the Friendship Theatre Group are putting on Cinderella at Penyrheol Theatre in Gorseinon from January 14 to January 23.
The feel good, rags to riches story focuses on Cinderella as she deals with her ugly sisters, meets her Fairy Godmother, loses her glass slipper and meets her Prince Charming.
Denny, who’s now been doing pantomime for over 30 years, is joined on stage by veteran performers and actors and actresses who have appeared in West End productions.
Emma Evans, Penyrheol Theatre Manager, said: “Cinderella is a firm favourite with children and adults and is a performance the whole family will enjoy. Denny Twp and the Friendship Theatre Group continue to entertain us year after year with brilliant performances and plenty of laughs.
“We’ve also tried to make it easier for the public to get hold of their tickets this year by selling them online as well as at the Theatre Box Office.”
