Beau – TEA – ful – Beauty Counter Staff to hold Blooming Great Tea Party

Staff from Debenhams in Llandudno have signed up to hold their very own Blooming Great Tea Party to help raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Their tea party is part of many others that will take place throughout North Wales and Shropshire as part of Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Blooming Great Tea Party campaign, which hopes to raise £20,000 and recruit 203 parties.

If you would like to hold your own tea party, please call Debbie Rowley on 01745 352912 or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/teaparty for your free Blooming Great Tea Party fundraising pack.

Jayne Creed, Ellie Bradshaw and Laura Livesey, who work on the beauty counter at Debenhams in Parc, Llandudno, signed up when Community Fundraiser Debbie Rowley held a Promotional Day for Marie Curie in store. The money raised from the tea parties will allow more Marie Curie Nurses to provide free care to patients with terminal cancer and other illnesses in the comfort of  their own homes.

Community Fundraiser Debbie said: “The ladies had some fantastic ideas on how to make their Tea Parties Different. Laura was even talking about a Cocktails & Cupcake Party with her friends. It’s a wonderful way to get together with friends/family/colleagues and do something good at the same time. The money we raised will allow more Marie Curie Nurses to provide their fantastic free care to people with a terminal illness in the local community.”
