The Big Garden Birdwatch 2012 – the world’s biggest bird survey – takes place later this month and Caerphilly county borough council’s Countryside and Landscape Service is encouraging local people to take part.
On Saturday 28th January from 10am to 3pm fans of our feathered friends should head to Parc Cwm Darran in Deri to take park in this national event.
Those taking part will discover the many different birds at Parc Cwm Darran at this annual event in collaboration with many voluntary bird groups. Visitors can make bird boxes, bird feeders, enjoy bird ringing demonstrations and explore the park with expert bird spotting leaders!
Information and advice will be available on garden birds, wildlife gardening and taking part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch!
Hot refreshments and toilets are available in the visitor centre cafe. Car parking available along with disabled access.
