Big-hearted anglers land prize catch for Angle and Tenby lifeboat stations

Big-hearted anglers have landed a prize catch for RNLI lifeboat stations at Angle and Tenby, with each being presented with a cheque for £1000.

The money was raised in two fishing competitions, organised this year and last year, by Milford Haven and Pembroke angling clubs, and sponsored by Felinfoel Brewery.

Anglers from as far away as Somerset and Devon took part in the competitions and the total raised was £2000, which was split equally between Angle and Tenby lifeboat stations.

The cheques were presented at a ceremony at the Amroth Arms, where representatives of both volunteer lifeboat crews and some of the anglers were generously treated to supper and refreshments, courtesy of Felinfoel Brewery and the Amroth Arms.
