A new exhibition opens at the Aberstwyth Arts Centre on July 17 and runs until September 4.
The exhibition exploring the diversity of contemporary printmaking, including works from printmakers who maintain traditional techniques which have been used for hundreds of years as well as those who have adopted the latest technological advances. This wide ranging selection has examples from across UK, France and Germany, highlighting the extensive opportunities of technique and means of expression open to the modern printmaker. Information panels will explain the basics of the main artists’ printmaking methods; many works will be for sale.
