Shoppers in Blackwood town centre will ‘step back in time’ next month and soak up the festive atmosphere on offer at the first ever Dickensian Christmas Market.
This year’s new and exciting event promises to offer a weekend jam-packed with family entertainment and fantastic festive shopping opportunities.
The Blackwood Dickensian Christmas Market comes to town on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December. The town centre will be closed to traffic over the weekend to allow food stalls, crafts stalls and funfair rides to set up along the length of the High Street.
A FREE crèche will also be available to keep the little ones entertained as parents shop for Christmas gift ideas. The crèche facility will be provided by Tip Toes Day Nursery.
To fit in with the Dickensian theme there will be entertainers such as ‘Tiny Tim’, ‘Scrooge’, a gent riding a Penny Farthing and much more.
As an added attraction, there will be a REAL reindeer at the event on Sunday.
The opening times are 9am until 6pm on Saturday 4th December and 10am until 4pm on Sunday 5th December.
