Blaina Library is showing off a new look to customers following a £62,000 makeover.
Thanks to funding from the Welsh Assembly Government’s CyMAL programme, Blaenau Gwent Council has transformed the library with new furniture and shelving, a new staff counter, a vibrant new colour scheme and full disabled access. New books, computer games and digital audio books are available for loan.
Coun Jason Owen, Executive Member for Leisure and Culture said:
“We want everyone to rediscover their local library – and are restoring our libraries to provide the best and most modern facilities.”
