The Blues Under 18s are hoping to make it six of the best tonight when they take on the Dragons in the WRU Age Grade Championship at Abercynon (KO 7.15pm).
Sunday’s 65-0 victory over Gogledd Cymru secured the Blues’ place in the final where they will play the current league leaders , the Scarlets.
However, having won all five games to date, the hosts will be looking to make it six in a row against a Dragons side for whom this has been a stop start season.
The Gwent region put up a decent fight against tonight’s opponents when the sides met at Newbridge at the beginning of November, but their 33-14 defeat that night all but paid to their slim hopes of reaching the final.
However, in terms of development, a revenge victory over the closest rivals would certainly provide the region with a shot in the arm.
