At 3.24pm today (Tuesday, January 4) police received a report that a body has been found under the Menai Suspension Bridge.
Police attended and the Coastguard and Ambulance Service were informed and attended.
The body is that of a man and was pronounced dead at the scene.
There does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death at this time and the Coroner will be informed.
Formal identification of the body is yet to take place however it is not that of the 19-year-old teenager who is missing from Anglesey.
