Update in relation to the body found on Newborough beach on the morning of Wednesday, 21st October:
The body has now been identified as being Peter Robert Williams who was 58-years-old and who lived in the Caernarfon area.
There is no known next of kin for Mr Williams and police are appealing for anybody who knew him to contact them.
Mr Williams had white hair and slight facial hair and was of slim build. He would have walked with a pronounced limp as his left leg was shorter than the right one.
A post mortem was carried out on Friday 23rd October, which confirmed the death was not suspicious.
