Gwent Police have said:
“While formal identification has yet to take place, the man’s body recovered from the River Usk at Caerleon yesterday evening is believed to 30 year old Ben Caplan who was reported missing to police on Sunday December 8th.
“Mr Caplan’s family have been informed and are being supported at this time. Our condolences remain with them.”
