A police investigation is currently ongoing after a body of a man was recovered from the Menai Straits around 8am this morning.
Officers were called to the Menai Suspension Bridge following reports that a man was threatening to jump.
Emergency services were involved including the coastguard, 22 squadron and the ambulance. The male was conveyed to Ysbyty Gwynedd where he was pronounced dead.
Police say that there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
Formal identification of the body has taken place and the family members have been informed.
Police can confirm that this incident has no connection to the 19-year-old teenager who is missing from Anglesey.
