European Ryder Cup Captain, Colin Montgomerie, is encouraging you to join your local library to be in with the chance of winning two tickets to the 2010 Ryder Cup which is being held at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport from 1st – 3rd October.
Colin has already called into the local library at Newport to read a few pages from his favourite Harry Potter book and with almost 14 million visits to Welsh libraries in 2008/09, Wales is leading the way in public library usage across the UK.
For your chance to get hold of Ryder Cup tickets, simply join any library in Denbighshire – in person or at www.denbighshire.gov.uk/libraries. And why not pick up the latest golfer’s autobiography or perfect your game with a book or DVD whilst you’re there! Already a member and don’t want to miss out? Then why not encourage a friend to join up and enter the draw?
The Ryder Cup Captain is urging us all to take a fresh look at our library: Colin said: “There are some wonderful libraries in Wales, it’s free to join and most of the services are free to use – it’s a great chance to get hold of loads of information on the game of golf or famous golfers.”
So take this chance to win Ryder Cup tickets and discover what’s on offer at your library. This promotion is open to anyone who lives, works or studies in Wales and joins a library in Wales during July or August 2010. All new members will be entered into the draw to win two tickets to the 2010 Ryder Cup and the winner will be announced in September.
