Welsh Conservative Assembly leader Nick Bourne will address a meeting of the party’s Welsh Parliamentary candidates for the final time before the General Election campaign on Sunday.
Speaking in Rhayader, Powys, Mr Bourne will say:
“Conservatives are the best hope for this country after 13 years of Labour.
“Our task in Wales is clear – save this country from five more years of Gordon Brown, whose debt, waste and taxes will put the recovery at risk.
“By doing so we can ensure a Conservative victory and get Britain working for everyone by boosting enterprise, supporting families, fixing our broken society, and making politics more local, more transparent, and more accountable.
“Only the Conservative Party can beat Labour in Wales. Election after election in Wales the Conservative Party has gone from strength to strength winning across the country and against all parties.”
