Commenting on the announcement of the likely date of the referendum on full legislative powers for the National Assembly on Thursday 3rd March, Leader of the Welsh Conservatives in the Assembly, Nick Bourne AM said:
“The announcement of the date of the referendum gives campaigners on all sides of the debate a date to work towards.
“It is now more important than ever that the people of Wales are informed of the important decision before them and given the opportunity to make their voice heard.
“It is critical that the debate on the future of the Assembly extends beyond the political classes so everyone in Wales can cast their vote in an informed way.”
