Commenting on the Deputy Prime Minister’s statement on Political and Constitutional Reform, Leader of the Opposition Nick Bourne AM said:
“I will be meeting with other party leaders in the Assembly to discuss the timing of the various votes Wales will have to face next year.
“There is a need to consider the cost implications of these elections, as well as voter fatigue.
“Reductions to the number of MPs must be on a uniform basis clearly and it makes sense that Wales will have to play its part in this.”
