Preparations are underway for the soloists or bands getting ready for an epic ‘Battle of the Bands’ competition, to be held on March 14 at Theatr John Ambrose, Ysgol Brynhyfryd, Ruthin.
The contest is open to all genres of music and entrants have to be aged between 11 and 18 and in a Denbighshire High School to take part for their chance to claim the trophy.
Tickets cost £8 per adult and £4 per child with a raffle being drawn on the night, the money raised will go towards Barnardos and the School Council Forum to help enable young people to share good practice and to help make improvements for future generations.
