Young people are being warned of the dangers of playing on building or derelict sites.
At the Pembroke Police and Communities Together (PACT) meeting concerns were raised about young people playing on a derelict site in Monkton.
PCSO Dave Powell said: “Building and derelict sites are not playgrounds by entering the site unsupervised you are immediately putting yourself at danger.
“We will be increasing our patrols in the area and children caught on the site who are considered to be at risk will be returned by the police to their parents or guardians.
“If you cause damage to the site you are also committing a criminal offence.
“Any offences of theft or criminal damage that are brought to the attention to us will be investigated”.
The Pembroke Neighbourhood Policing team told the meeting they would try and contact the owners to secure the site.
The meeting also raised concerns about speeding in Bush Hill and boy racers in Monkton and bikers using the barrage as a short cut.
The team pledged to increase patrols in both areas and warn that anyone using their vehicle for anti-social behaviour could lose their vehicle.
The next Pembroke PACT takes place on October 21 at Pembroke Town Hall 7pm.
