Police in Bridgend are appealing for information following a burglary in the Broadlands area of the town.
The incident happened between 7am and 5.10pm on Wednesday 12th February while the occupants were at work.
Entry was gained to the house by forcing patio doors and a quantity of high-value jewellery was stolen.
Detectives investigating the burglary are appealing to trace a witness who may have seen the suspects in the area at the time of the incident.
He was driving a silver grey/dark silver car similar in size to a Ford Fiesta or Renault Clio and described as being male, white, aged in his late 40s, of stocky build, with dark hair, spoke with a local accent and was wearing grey clothes.
Police are appealing for this man to come forward.
