Police in Neath Port Talbot are appealing for information following a burglary which happened in the Cwmavon area on Monday 9th June.
The incident occurred between 2.10pm and 5.30pm at Ty’r Owen Row when the suspects forced entry into a bungalow and stole a large amount of property.
Among the items stolen were Apple iPads, an iPhone, a yellow Nintendo DS, a tablet computer, jewellery and a watch. Also taken was an Army cap with a Royal Artillery badge which is of sentimental value to the victim.
Detective Inspector Trudi Meyrick of Neath Port Talbot CID said: “This burglary has been very upsetting for the victim and has happened in what is a usually quiet area of Port Talbot.
“We are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in and around the property in Ty’r Owen Row between 2pm and 6pm on Monday 9th June to contact police. We also appeal to anyone with information about the stolen property, particularly the distinctive Army cap with the Royal Artillery badge which is of sentimental value to the victim.”
