Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Angela Burns would urge you to contribute and engage in a consultation exercise being carried out by the Office of Fair Trading, who want to hear your views about living or running a business in a remote rural area, in particular:
• The prices you pay for goods and services
• The range of products on offer
• The quality of goods and of service that you receive.
Mrs Burns said “Living in rural West Wales can be challenging with the costs of travel going up, bus services being cut and businesses being heavily taxed with business rates let alone the forthcoming council tax rises for most homes.
Any information that we can give to the Office of Fair Trading will influence their work and help to develop ideas for the future which will hopefully benefit us here in West Wales.”
The Office of fair Trading are particularly keen to know:
• If you have tried to do anything to improve your access to goods and services or the prices you pay
• Any difficulties you have found in shopping around or trying to do things differently
• What you think would help to make things better.
You can use the electronic survey at:
