Burst Water Main in Rhyl – Situation with Council Buildings (Situation at 12.30Pm)

denbighshireA number of Denbighshire schools and public buildings are closed following a burst water main in Rhyl. These buildings have been closed due to a lack of water supply.

The schools closed are:

  • Ysgol Brynhedydd
  • Ysgol Christchurch
  • Ysgol Emmanuel
  • Blessed Edward Jones High School
  • Project 10 &11

Other council buildings closed are:

  • Rhyl Pavilion Theatre
  • Oak Tree Centre
  • Rhyl Library
  • Toilets at Rhyl Town Hall.

Any enquiries regarding the burst water main should be directed to Dwr Cymru Welsh Water.

The burst is also affecting Abergele and Kinmel Bay. The emergency number for Welsh Water is 0800 0520130 for the public to get the latest  information about the water situation and emergency water supplies.
