Denbighshire County Council has announced some changes to its bus timetable as of Monday, January 27th.
The changes are:
X1 Mold – Ruthin
Additional journeys leave Mold at 1815 (Saturdays) and 1845 (Mondays to Fridays) and are
anticipated to operate at least till the end of March 2014.
5 Wrexham – Corwen
X5 Corwen – Ruthin
There is an additional journey on Mondays to Saturdays from Wrexham at 1345 via Llangollen (1419) to Corwen (arriving 1439). The bus continues as service X5 to Ruthin
The 0730 X5 from Corwen to Ruthin & Denbigh operates Mondays to Fridays but operates 5 minutes later during school holidays. It runs additionally on Saturdays at 0735
The 0810 X5 from Corwen to Ruthin operates Mondays to Saturdays throughout the year.
11G, 11M, 11F, 11X Rhyl – Holywell
Does not serve Presthaven Sands for the winter period (daily). On Sundays, the 0750 11X from Rhyl to Holywell operates 10 minutes EARLIER throughout
On Sundays, there is an additional 11M departure at 0725 from Rhyl to Holywell
On Sundays, the 0900 Prestatyn to Rhyl is extended to start from Holywell at 0820, operating as 11M
12 Rhyl – Llandudno

13 Prestatyn – Llandudno (from February 16th)
This service changes on February 16th. See amended timetable at www.denbighshire.gov.uk/travel
14 Denbigh – Mold
Townlynx journeys are now operated by GHA Coaches. The 1810 Saturday only journey from Mold to Denbigh is withdrawn. There are no other changes to times
51 Rhyl – Denbigh
This service changes on January 27th. See amended timetable on www.denbighshire.gov.uk/travel
54 Rhyl – St Asaph Business Park
Arriva journeys are withdrawn (M & H Coaches’ continue). Passengers from Rhyl & Rhuddlan should use the 0730 service 51 that operates via the Business Park. Passengers from Prestatyn may use the 0705 service 35 arriving Rhyl at 0725 and change on to the 0730 ser 51. In the afternoon, passengers may use the 1640 from Denbigh (due at the Business Park at 1700) and Prestatyn passengers change at Rhyl to the 1730 ser 35. Through fares are available

Journeys via St Asaph Business Park remain unaltered
83/84/83A/84A Rhyl Town Services
Minor revisions including replacement of evening services as 85
64/64A Llangollen – Ceiriog Valley
All journeys from the Ceiriog Valley and Chirk towards Llangollen operate one minute EARLIER from all stops between Chirk and Llangollen except the 0855 from Chirk (unchanged) and the 1825 from Llanarmon DC (departs two minutes LATER)
All journeys from Llangollen towards Chirk operate one minute EARLIER from Chirk
X94 Barmouth – Corwen – Llangollen – Wrexham
Times and operator have changed. See amended timetable on www.denbighshire.gov.uk/travel
Note that currently all buses are serving Llangollen Parade Street and Ruabon Station Approach.
Taxibus D Nantglyn, Bylchau, Llansannan
This service is now withdrawn. Taxibus A from Nantglyn, Prion & Saron (also Peniel) and bus service 71 for Llansannan remain unaltered.
