Everything you need to know about doing business in Neath Port Talbot is just a click away thanks to a new council website.
www.npt-business.co.uk has been set up by Neath Port Talbot Council’s Business Services Team to allow businesses to access information in one place.
The dedicated Business Site has been designed to support the local business community and includes advice on starting up a business as well as information on accessing support and funding. Business owners can also log on to find out more about our Flexible Support for Business Regional Centre Service.
The website also provides information on current developments taking place across Neath Port Talbot, including a wealth of information on the award winning Baglan Energy Park. This includes organisations and facilities located there, as well as a short video which shows how the Park has developed over the years.
Gordon Andrews, Head of Economic Development, said, “The Council’s decision to set up a dedicated Business Site was made in an effort to continue our commitment to communicating and interacting with local businesses.
He added, “With more and more users turning to the internet for information we felt that there was a need to put everything for businesses in one place, which can be easily navigated.
“Businesses can use the website to get in touch with our Team and use the ‘sign-up’ feature to receive regular e-News updates on products and services offered by the Business Services team and other business support providers across the Swansea Bay region.”
In the coming year it is planned that more interactive features will be introduced to the site, including updating the on-line business directory function, providing information on vacant industrial units and offices, and much, much more.
