The Returning Officer at Denbighshire County Council is informing people of a by-election that will take place for a vacant seat on Trefnant Community Council following the resignation of Cllr Leslie Rees.
The by-election will take place on Thursday 25 February 2016 and if the election is contested, the polling station will be located at Trefnant Village Hall.
Any person wishing to stand as a candidate at this election should contact the Returning Officer for further information on 01824 706118 to request nomination papers.
Prospective candidates should submit their completed nomination papers to the Returning Officer, Room 235, County Hall, Ruthin, LL15 1YN no later than 4pm on Friday 29 January 2016.
