A park in Caernarfon has been given a new lease of life thanks to a litter-pick arranged by the local Neighbourhood Policing Team.
PCSO Mike Sambrook organised for five members of young offenders to help clear litter in Parc y Dre.
The litter-pick was held on Saturday, 13th February and over 20 bags of rubbish were collected.
PCSO Sambrook said: “Litter has a real impact on the quality of life for residents. But clearing litter in an area helps install belief of pride in a community. It was quite a chilly day but it was completed with great enthusiasm.
“Litter has been a problem in the area but now, the area looks better thanks to the efforts of the volunteers.”
The litter pickers and bags were donated by Keep Wales Tidy.
