Caerphilly Motoring Festival will be held at Llancaiach Fawr Manor on Sunday 25th May 2014.
The event is being jointly run by Llancaiach Fawr, the South Wales Automobile Club and the Glamorgan Classic Car Club.
A touring assembly will be run in the style of the London to Brighton Run, passing Caerphilly Castle, following the route of the iconic Caerphilly Hill Climb and taking in the scenic attractions of Caerphilly county borough via Risca and Cwmcarn and Blackwood before returning to the Manor to join in the display.
Whether you want to cast envious glances at classics such as a Porche 911 Carrera, Ferrari 360 Spider, Jensen Interceptor, Jaguar XJS Convertible or want to get nostalgic over a 1934 Sunbeam 25, a 1928 Morris Empire Oxford or a 3 wheeled 1927 Morgan Aero and vintage buses or indeed meet motoring enthusiasts from local car dealerships with their latest models on display, there is something for everyone at the festival.
Over 270 classic and vintage cars will be on display- examples from Daimler, Mercedes Benz, Ford, Lotus, Gilbern, Morris, Riley and Triumph through to the ever popular MGs and Minis- there will even be some classic and rare motorcycles. Rally and 4 x 4 cars belonging to members of the South Wales Automobile Club will be on display too.
And for those in need of some retail therapy, there will be a wide range of trade and craft stalls. A racing simulator will be on site for petrol heads keen to test their skills. Refreshments will be available all day
Entry costs to the show are £2 for adults, £1 for concessions or it is included in the normal manor entry price ( held at 2013 prices due to the ongoing building conservation work at £7.50 adult, £6 child 5-16 and over 60s)
